Filing deadline

The filing ended today, at 4:30. At about 4:40, I talked to the township clerk, Anne Hansen. She said that six candidates filed for four trustee seats. I filed first.

Endorsements

I was endorsed by Chad Koppie, a member of the Kane Co. Regional Board of Schools; Kevin O'Connell, a former Palatine Township clerk; Glenn Garamoni, a candidate for Fremont Township supervisor, and Greg Jacobs, a candidate for Mundelein village trustee. Filing my petitions

Yesterday, I filed my petitions.  The township office opened at 8:30, and I arrived at about 6:45, to ensure that my name will be the first, on my section of the ballot.
