2012 campaigns

In 2012, I'll run for delegate for Buddy Roemer. He's conservative, and he's the only presidential candidate who has been a congressman and a governor. I'm looking for other people, who live in Illinois' new 9th Congressional District, who want to run for delegate, for Gov. Roemer.

Here are some 2012 candidates for whom I've worked: Rich Evans for Congress, in the 8th Dist.; Frederick Collins for Congress, in the 1st Dist.; Hector Concepcion for Congress, in the 4th Dist.; Chad Koppie for the state senate, in the 33rd Dist.; and Greg Jacobs for the state senate, in the 30th Dist.

My campaign result

In April, I lost my race. In 2012, I'll probably run for delegate to the Republican National Convention, for Gov. Buddy Roemer.

On May 31, I was suddenly laid off, since my company wasn't doing well, because of the recession. I hope to work for another public relations company or for a politician.

My attending board meetings

Last night, I attended a meeting of the Glenview Park District Board. All of my opponents attended at least one of the last five meetings (Nov., Dec., Jan., Feb., and March). I'm the only candidate, in my race, who attended all five of those meetings.

New endorsement

Yesterday, I was endorsed by Richard Hamen, the alderman of Prospect Heights' First Ward. I would appreciate help, in walking precincts and raising funds.

An interview

Last Wed., I was interviewed by two writers of the Glenview Announcements. The interview lasted about 40 minutes, and one of them took a picture of me.

No tax increases

Unlike many Illinios state legislators, if I'm elected to the Glenview Park District Board, I won't vote for any tax rate increases. Since our country is in a recession, no politician should consider increasing tax rates.
