Cook Co. campaign
Only a Democrat filed petitions to run for Cook Co. Recorder of Deeds. I'm running as a write-in candidate. Chad Koppie (a write-in U.S. Senate candidate) and I endorsed each other. Diane Harris (a write-in candidate for Congress in Illinois' 3rd District) and I endorsed each other.

U.S. House campaign
I'm a write-in candidate for Congress in Illinois' 9th District. If I become a congressman, my main goals will be cutting spending to ensure that Congress will obey the 10th Amendment. Since the federal government will need less money, I'd support cutting tax rates for everyone who pays a federal income tax. I support repealing Obamacare. I'd vote for a constitutional amendment for congressional term limits.

On April 9, I won my election. I appreciate the support of everyone who voted for me and endorsed me.

More about me
I'm the only veteran, in the 7th District race. I was in the navy for 21 years (11 on active duty and 10 in the reserves). I was near Baghdad, in the Triangle of Death, in a marine infantry battalion, for six months.
If I'm elected to Congress, I'll only vote for bills that obey the Constitution. Too many congressmen, including Rep. Davis, vote for laws that violate the 10th Amendment. I'll never vote for tax rate increases, and I think that tax rates and federal spending should be lower.

If you know anyone, who lives in the 7th Congressional District, please ask them to write my name and vote for me. The district includes downtown Chicago, Oak Park, Bellwood, Maywood, part of Berwyn, and part of La Grange Park.

My new campaign
This week, I became a write-in candidate in Illinois' 7th Congressional District. The current congressman, Danny Davis, is very liberal, and he's been in Congress too long, since 1993.

I live in the Cook Memorial Library District, which includes
Libertyville, Vernon Hills, and part of Mundelein. In March, I read
that the library board will appoint a new trustee because a trustee
resigned. I want to be appointed, so I sent my application. Today, I
learned that I can have an interview on May 7.

2012 primary result
I lost my delegate race, but I received more votes than a state representative candidate.
In 2013, I'll probably run for township trustee or a school board.

Gov. Roemer
This week, I became Gov. Buddy Roemer's Illinois coordinator. If you live in IL and want to volunteer, for him, please contact me. If you want to learn about him, please read his site, www.buddyroemer.com. He's conservative, and he's the only presidential candidate, who has been a congressman and governor.

2012 campaigns
In 2012, I'll run for delegate for Buddy Roemer. He's conservative, and he's the only presidential candidate who has been a congressman and a governor. I'm looking for other people, who live in Illinois' new 9th Congressional District, who want to run for delegate, for Gov. Roemer.
Here are some 2012 candidates for whom I've worked: Rich Evans for Congress, in the 8th Dist.; Frederick Collins for Congress, in the 1st Dist.; Hector Concepcion for Congress, in the 4th Dist.; Chad Koppie for the state senate, in the 33rd Dist.; and Greg Jacobs for the state senate, in the 30th Dist.

My campaign result
In April, I lost my race. In 2012, I'll probably run for delegate to the Republican National Convention, for Gov. Buddy Roemer.
On May 31, I was suddenly laid off, since my company wasn't doing well, because of the recession. I hope to work for another public relations company or for a politician.

My attending board meetings
Last night, I attended a meeting of the Glenview Park District Board. All of my opponents attended at least one of the last five meetings (Nov., Dec., Jan., Feb., and March). I'm the only candidate, in my race, who attended all five of those meetings.

Yesterday, I was endorsed by Richard Hamen, the alderman of Prospect Heights' First Ward. I would appreciate help, in walking precincts and raising funds.
